If You Find a Crocodile in Your Camp

If you chance to meet a  laughing crocodile in your camp, after a good scratch, release it in the wild.

Since Camp food is the center of my outdoor church let's see that. Here we have breakfast. So far we have coffee and a roasted apple at the camp breakfast! But, that cast iron oven smoker holds a promise of more to come. Stay tuned.

Laughing Crocodile camping is like a good Nancy Drew book, it is contagiously fun to keep at.  Start small with the adventure, like a lake drive or a swim at the public beach or a stargrazing campfire . That is what the crocodile's tell me...

When you feel like exploring more , say like in the spring make a sack lunch and take a break . It is good business.

If you should find a real crocodile, or a frog or a turtle, release it in the wild.

AGELESS CAMPING TIPS

The camp has rain, that's a good time to sit in the car and use the camp toy kit. Puzzles, books and art keep a person content while the rain clears.

Blue sky's give the fields fresh flowers to photograph. The Kansas State Parks are great places to identify wildflowers .
Car Camping can be of great value to the  over 50 camp crowd. It just is easier to have a relaxing time if you can read a boopk in your backseat.

Art is always waiting once the rainbow comes out, so take your book to the tree and enjoy the sun and fun of camping all day!

The Camp could be called : DAY CARE!!

You can begin and end a great Laughing Crocodile campout with a campfire coffee pot and save the recipes for another day.
You can , also, camp out in your own backyard and have camping for two!

Why ?

Eventually you may wonder why bother camping or cooking out of doors? Aside from the incredible benefit of fun, sun and plum none of your business but mine activities, consider the glory of adventure and the indestructible feeling you can from exploring the Great Out Of Doors.

I, myself, personally use the time for art.

Chances are if you have enjoyed any of my blog , you have swallowed the seed of passion for camping or at the least, cooking out of doors. The benefits of making a connection with nature through your food are many. The KISS ( keep it simple sweetheart) of the taste of fire cooked  meals, the fresh air , sunshine and exercise you get working the camp kitchen
all contribute to Earthing, a process of regaining or keeping your co` creation with Mother Nature. The emotional reward of self knowing you can do it and the joy of a swim later or a hike down a trail you want to explore is only going to make that seed sprout, so put on your hiking boots and laugh as you stroll.
